How do I add plants to my collection?
Open the app and tap the "+" button on the Collection tab. You can search our plant library by common or scientific name, browse by category, or manually add a custom entry. Once you select a plant, you can add notes, photos, and set up a care schedule.
How do care reminders work?
When you add a plant, Leaf People suggests a care schedule based on the species and your region. You can customize watering, fertilizing, and light-check reminders. Notifications are sent to your device at the times you choose. You can adjust or disable reminders at any time from the plant's detail page.
How does the marketplace work?
The marketplace lets you buy, sell, and trade rare plants with other verified collectors. To list a plant, go to the Marketplace tab and tap "Create Listing." Add photos, a description, and set your price. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You can also browse listings from other collectors filtered by region, species, or price.
What premium features are available?
Leaf People offers a free tier with full access to the plant library and basic care tracking. Premium features include advanced care analytics, unlimited marketplace listings, priority support, and detailed regional growing guides. You can upgrade from the Profile tab within the app.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Profile tab by tapping "Delete Account." This will permanently remove your account, plant collection data, marketplace listings, and all associated data from our systems. If you have trouble, email us at hello@percentearth.co and we'll take care of it.
Why does the app need my location?
We use your location to determine your climate zone so we can provide accurate regional growing advice for your plants. It also helps connect you with nearby collectors on the marketplace. We only access location while you're using the app and never track you in the background. You can set your region manually if you prefer not to share your location.
How do I report a problem with a marketplace listing?
If you encounter an issue with a listing or another user, tap the three-dot menu on the listing and select "Report." You can describe the problem and our team will investigate. You can also reach out directly at hello@percentearth.co.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. All marketplace payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never store your full credit card details on our servers. Stripe handles all sensitive payment data securely.
